Finances & Operations

Finances

HHM has no desire to build a financial kingdom or to have our workers live lavish lifestyles.  We strive to be good stewards of finances we receive.

We keep careful and detailed financial records.  The Davies share the responsibility of managing the finances with the guidance of the Board of Directors.  The tax preparation service is donated by a Wilmington parent and businessman.

A statement of HHM's financial activity is available to anyone upon request.  We cannot release information about individual contributors but willingly share all other financial records.

We are a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, so donations made to the ministry are tax-deductible.  HHM does not beg for funds but will let people know of the ministry's need through periodic informational e-mails.  We try to be forthright and non-manipulative.  Contributions to HHM are needed and appreciated, and we ask that they be secondary to one's regular giving to a Bible-believing, Christ-centered local church.

Operations

We aim to keep overhead costs at a minimum by avoiding unnecessary expense and using the resources in our care wisely.  One of the biggest ways we cut costs is by using e-mail as a main form of communication with our staff and participants.  We will not sell or rent our mailing list to anyone.  We issue tax deductible receipts for all funds and materials donated.
