2011-12 GAME SCHEDULE

PLAY WITH FRIENDS OR MAKE NEW ONES

When you register your child, you can request teammates and a coach.  If you don’t have any requests, we use other registration information to place your child on a team.  (We do our best to honor your requests, but we can’t make any guarantees.)

AGE DIVISIONS* (Age as of Oct. 15)

BOYS: 14-15 yr olds, 16-18 yr olds (must be attending high school)
GIRLS: 14-15 yr olds, 16-18 yr olds (must be attending high school)

*We try to keep ages as close as possible, but if there’s low enrollment, we may combine two age divisions.

NEW TO HALO HOOPS?

We use the Halo Rules which are designed especially for young players.   And of course, every player gets to play in every game.  See the Halo Rules for specific minimum playing times.

IMPORTANT DATES AND LOCATIONS

Dec. 3 thru Feb.  11 (except Dec. 24 and 31):  Games on Saturdays*
Feb.12-25:Playoffs
*Games may be scheduled on Thursdays or Fridays, depending on gym availability.
Possible game sites: Brigade Boys and Girls Club,First Baptist Church Activity Center, St. James Church Gym, and TBD

BEFORE YOU REGISTER:

IMPORTANT NOTE #1: Due to limited facilities, Halo does not provide practice sessions for this age division.  Your coach may secure practice at a facility that requires a rental fee.  The cost may be covered by a sponsor or by the players themselves.
IMPORTANT NOTE #2: Most teams in this age division already have a set of game jerseys.  If not, the cost may be covered by a sponsor or by the players themselves.

(Only a $10 discount is available for this age division.  We apologize to anyone who was misled by our promo flyers which incorrectly state there is a $20 discount.)
