COACHES LUNCHEON on Dec. 16

Get to know other Halo coaches and share ideas!

Location: Impact Church (across from Monkey Junction Wal-Mart, next to Advance Autoparts)
We’ll start out with a free lunch provided by Impact Church, have a short presentation and discussion time.

POSITIONS AVAILABLE
Head or Assistant Coach for the Youth League (6-9 yr olds), Crossover League (10-13 yr olds), Recreational League (14-18 yr olds)

1 Head Coach per team
1-2 Assistant Coaches per team (only 1 assistant allowed on bench during games)

REQUIREMENTS

  • Basic understanding of the game of basketball
  • Love helping young people growing in skill and character
  • Available for practice and game times
  • Attend 1 Halo Certification session

TO APPLY
Veteran coaches must re-apply.

1.  Read the Winter League Information, including the Game Rules - these are UPDATED from last season.

2.  Fill out the online application prior to the Halo Certification. Within 2 weeks, you’ll receive an e-mail notice with additional information.

Final Rosters

  • Youth and Crossover League - due immediately
  • Rec League - due Dec. 1

Pictures are taken 45 min. before your team’s first game.

Practices for Youth League begin the week of Nov. 9.

Games begin the weekend of Dec. 4.  Locations include:  Masonboro Baptist Church Gym, Myrtle Grove EPC Gym, First Baptist Activity Center, St. James, Temple Baptist Christian Activity Center.
